The AARP Fraud Watch Network Helpline is a free resource designed to help individuals recognize scams, receive guidance after suspected fraud, and connect with trained fraud specialists for support. Through the AARP Fraud Watch Network, visitors can access scam prevention education, fraud alerts, victim support groups, and tools to help protect themselves and their families from financial scams and identity theft. The helpline is available Monday through Friday and offers confidential assistance for those who may have been targeted by fraud.

The National Elder Fraud Hotline is a free resource created by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime to help older adults affected by financial fraud and scams. Individuals age 60 and older — or those assisting them — can speak with trained case managers who help guide victims through the reporting process at the federal, state, and local levels. The hotline also connects callers with additional victim support resources and educational materials about common scams, warning signs, and fraud prevention. Services are available in English, Spanish, and other languages at no cost.

The Give an Hour Financial Fraud Support page provides free mental health resources and emotional support for individuals and families impacted by financial fraud and scams. The organization offers peer support groups, access to licensed mental health professionals, educational materials, and recovery resources designed to help victims cope with the emotional effects of fraud, including stress, shame, anxiety, and isolation. The page also includes guidance on common scam types, actionable recovery steps, and tools to help survivors rebuild confidence and emotional well-being after financial loss.
